Protection From Poison Spell

This protection is aimed at poisons used against the subject by some Intelligent foe. All forms of toxic substances are Included, including gases. When cast upon a subject, this Spell provides immunity to poisons to the degree equal to 30 plus the apotropaist's power. That is, the amount of Invulnerability conferred is equal to the caster's STEEP in poison STR points. Where poison Strength exceeds this dweomer, the Protection from Poison Casting reduces the STR of the toxin by its conferred resistance. For Instance if the caster has STEEP of 25, and the subject, was inflicted with a STR 85 poison, damage would be based on a 30 STR (85-55 (30 base plus 25 STEEP --30).
