At activation. the caster scribes with a finger a small, invisible marking upon his or her chest. This Casting Effect enables conjurors to thus generate a protective Mental shield surrounding themselves. This shielding force is capable of resisting attempts to forge Mental Links or stop Mental damage. For each point of Heka channelled beyond the activation cost, the shield will counter 1 point applied by an enemy to forge a Link or negate Mental damage from any source.
